Another fort is situated in Mrs. OConnell's land in the townland of Coolacoosane, in the parish of Kanturk, in the barony of Duhallow, in County Cork. This fort is also circular in shape ; and there are trees round it also, which were planted in 1847.
Another fort is situated in Lismalecunnin in Kanturk parish in the barony of Duhallow, in County Cork. There is no entrance hole in any of these forts.
Many people have stated, that they have seen lights in Gortnaconroe fort ; but no strange noises have been heard there, or stories are not told about any of the other forts. About nine years ago, when getting gravel in the fort, Mr. Lane excavated part of a kiln built of stone ; and covered smoothly with green glass.
