    Fenton's Field: So called because a man by the name of Fenton died there, the time of the Famine.
    The Kiln Field: So called because there is a kiln there.
    The Old Road Field: So called because an old road ran through it long ago.
    Carney's Field: So called, because a man by the name of Carney lived there.
    Scannell's Hill: So called because a man by the name of Scannell, lost his life on the hill during a snow
