  1. Long ago when the Coom mine was working some men were coming to work from Garnish. They had to pass an old ruin on their way and one night as a boy was passing it he heard chains rattling in it so he got afraid and turned back on his way back he met the men and told them his story. They went to the old ruin and they heard the chains rattling and they saw something shining in the ruin. They were afraid to pass so some of them knelt down and prayed. One man said that he would pass without saying any prayers so he tried to pass but he was drawn into the ruin. The rest of the men were very frightened so they all knelt down and said the Rosary. When they had the Rosary said all fear left them. They told the priest what had happened and he went to the ruin and spent the night praying and in morning the man was found dying in ruin and the spirits were never seen again.
