At the top of "Maulin" there is another one of these holy wells. It is on St. John's day the rounds are preformed there. This well was discovered long ago when the Ghosts of two priests were seen there saying Mass.
A mile from Catletown on top of a little hill there is a level tract of land which is called "réidh fhináin". In this tract is a holy well. It is customary for the people in this parish and in the parish of Eyeries to pay rounds at this well every May Eve and May Day. The well is dedicated to St. Finian.
