    to be boiled and he said to the men, "If you are able to tell me a true tale you can all go safe and the steed, too." So the small man told the prince about one day he went into a giant's house and the giant's wife was about to kill her child and I asked here why she was doing so and she said the giant said so. I said do not kill the child and I went out and brought in some meat and we cut the finger off the child and boiled it. Then the giant thought the child was killed.
    Then the prince said he did not believe it and the small man going out brought in the woman and she was the woman whom he saved. They got home safely and lived happy ever after.
