  1. IN Penal times
    There was once an officer in the English army by the name of Roibárd na Glogarna by nickname, his right name being Robert Ormsby. He used to wear bells on the harness of his horse that were always jingling and that was why he was called Roibard na Glogarna.
    He had lodges in grange, in farragher, and in Brooklodge. He heard that the Irish were very superstitious and he went into a blacksmith's forge. Now it happened that this blacksmith was the seventh smith of seven generations of a family who were blacksmiths. If this smith cursed anyone it was sure to come true.
