    Chin cough
    If a boy or girl of the same surname get married and if a person with the chin-cough gets a bit of what they have been eating, he or she will be cured.
    Ferret’s leavings is another cure. Asses or sheep’s milk is also supposed to be another cure.
    If you met a man riding on a white horse and asked him for something to cure the chin-cough whatever he would say, is supposed to cure you.
    Stye
    Pick ten gooseberry thorns throw away one and point the other nine.
    Warts
    To cure a wart, get a bit of bacon and rub it on the wart, then bury it in the ground and when it is rotten your wart will wither and fall off.
