  1. Local Cures
    The seventh son or daughter has a cure for ringworm if a worm is put on the child’s hand when they are born. If they take a worm in their hand it will die.
    Whooping Cough
    Any food that a ferret leaves after him is a cure for whooping-cough. If a man and woman of the same name get married and a person that has the whooping-cough eats or drinks anything they leave after them they will get cured.
    A Tooth-ache
    If a person has a tooth-ache a cure is to bring a tooth from the grave-yard and put it on the tooth.
    A Sprain
    A cure for a sprained ankle is to get a thread from a weaver and leave it on his or her ankle.
    A Burn
    If a person that has licked a lizard licks a burn it will prevent
