    Friday's flitting long sitting.
    Monday's child is fair of face.
    Tuesday's child is full of grace.
    Wednesday's child is full of woe.
    Thursday's child has far to go.
    Friday's child is loving and giving.
    Saturday's child works hard for its living.
    But the child that is born on the Sabbath day is bonny and blithe and good and gay.
    Good Friday is believed to be a lucky day for sowing potatoes and the lucky day for digging them is on Garland Sunday.
    New Year's day is believed to be another lucky day for anyone getting in money, but if they give out money it is believed that they will be giving it out the year long. No person of this district likes to go to start any work on Saturday. Sneeze on Monday sneeze for good luck.
