    And Saturday is no day at all.
    There are certain days of the week which people count as lucky days. It is said that Friday is a lucky day to change to a new house. Friday and Saturday are said to be unlucky days for beginning ploughing or any other farm work. Wednesday and Thursday are lucky for getting married. It is said that Monday and Thursday are lucky days for curing any disease. Friday and Saturday are counted as unlucky days for beginning washing. Whit-Monday is counted as the crossest day in the year and it is said to be very dangerous to go near water on that day.
