  1. In olden times there lived in Scramogue, a man by the name of Sean O'Neill. One day he went to the priest's house and when he saw nobody about he stole a pot. A few days after he went to confession to the same priest and he told him he stole a pot. "Now my good lad" said the priest "you must give it up to its owner." "Well", said the boy, "will you take it father." "No" said the priest, "give it to its owner." "Well", said the boy, "I am after offering it to him now and he would not take it."
