   In years gone by there was a local fair held in out little village of Timahoe. It came to be known as a cattle + sheep fair, it was held monthly, on the green + every one would bring their cattle from all parts, as cattle were a great price at thime but they are not as good nowadays.
   There was also a loanful Bank a that time in Timahoe at time it was erected above the Post Office
