  1. One morning Michael Roberts was journeying to the fair of Athy. He had been told that pigs were a great price. He saw two big stones in the ditch and walking over he hit the stones and told them to go on. The stones walked on in the shape of two big white pigs.
When he reached the fair a jobber walked up to him. Michael disposed of the pigs. The man ordered him to put them in the wagon, Michael did so but if he took his eyes off them they would change back to their old shaped again.
When Michael turned to go home the pigs changed back again. The man took out to run after Roberts. Roberts ran in to a house and rolled in under the bed. The man caught him by the legs, Roberts let off his leg in the man's hands, the poor jobber fainted on the floor. Roberts got back the legs again and had easily arrived home when the unfortunate man came to.
