    They used to card the wool spin it and knit it.
    Weaving was slgo carried on at Kill, Monasterevan, Co. Kildare by a man name Mat Nolan. He used to weave the linen and make it into shirts and sheets and other things.
    Long ago people used to make baskets around thi splace and they went from house to house selling them, they made them from sticks, they also made straw chairs and went around to the houses selling them.
