Teachers name was Miss Inksmann. The Director was the Minister who lived in the big house alongside. One man's name was Garret. One Minister committed suicide. Another Minister was shot by a man named McDonald. A flag stone on the road side between Feighcullen Cross and Glenaree Canal Bridge marks the spot. McDonald was executed afterwards in Naas Jail for a number of crimes.
Much is not known of this school as none of the local children were educated there.

There was yet another school in Feighcullen. "Buck McGoady" was the name the Teacher was known by. He was some say from Clonrush, Clonbulloge, Offaly. He taught near the Grand Canal where Tom Cribbin now lives. He was an
