“Last Sunday McQuillan went”
(continued from previous page)and started to weep
The house was so lonely when they all went to sleep.
Poor Larry was cold standing up in the house.
He was listening to every wee sound round the house
He was watching the door, at every wee knock
But it was only the ferret that moved in the box.Composed by Thomas Clerkin Killeevan, when Mc Quillan drove Mrs Agnew in a pony trap on a visit to a friends house. Mc Quillan went on to a neighbouring house (Mc Kenna's) and forgot to come back tor Mrs Agnew.- Informant
