- The birds that are commonly found in our district are the crow, the magpie, the pigeon, the jackdaw, the wren, the robin, the sparrow, the thrush, the blackbird the starling, the heron, the seagull, the yellowhammer, and the goldfinch. They do not migrate but the cuckoo and the swallows and the corncrake do.
