In Mountruthe House there was one room which could not be opened, because there was a spirit in it, in the form of a cat.
Once a married couple lived in the house, the man said he would not be afraid to open the door, so he opened it and the cat flew out in the window and went off to the rath.
The man got sick with the fright and died after three days.
