  1. Here I lie down to sleep, I give my soul to God to keep, and if I die before I wake, give my soul to God to take
There are four corners on my bed,
There are four Angels on them spread,
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
God bless the bed that I lie on,
If any bad spirit comes to me,
    God come and save me,
I pray to God in Trinity, that no bad spirit betray me.
God be in my heart, God be in my mind
God be my Guide, day and night. Amen.
