  1. Jerpoint Abbey
    When Cromwell was passing Jerpoint Abbey he ordered his soldiers not to touch the Abbey as it looked so beautiful. When they had marched the bells rang for Martins. Cromwell though it was a triumph and he returned to the Abbey to kill all the monks and left the Abbey in ruins.
