    nearly all in ruins now. There are not many ruins of houses in Kilkenny nowadays. It is filled with new houses and the people are still saying the old houses were the best, and they wish they were in use again.

  2. A Palace Laden
    About half a mile from Kilkenny there is a stream which was much spoken of by the people long ago. It is known by many names but the one I know it by is "The Brickyard".
    It is a small stream and its water is as pure as crystal. It is situated as the side of the road. There is a story attached
