  1. Once there lived a boy named Jack, who was very clever, and his father was working with the king. The king said the only work he could give Jack is a robber. He said he would give him a lot of money if he would steal the sheet from under himself, and his wife. Jack got the King's uncle, Who was dead, and put him up to the window, and the king shot the dead man then the king said. I must go out and bury him. When he was gone out, Jack came in, and said I wont go out for a nother while, and he began pulling the sheet. When he had the sheet he said I must go out and bury him, he went out. He wasn't long gone out, when in came the king. I am very cold he said, and our not long gone out said his wife. When the king went in the bed he had no sheet, and said Jack have his trade. Then Jack went off and met others robber and he never came back
