The girl in the bar asked him what was he looking out in the door for. Little Phelaley said he was looking out to see was his mother coming that she went to the well for a gallon of water and she said she would be up in a few minutes and she is a very long time gone, the girl said she would go and call her when she was going. little Phelaley told her that his mother was little def and that she would want to tap her on the shoulder. When the girl tapped the old woman she fell into the well. The girl came back crying and told little Phelaley that his mother was after fallen into the well and she was drowned. They went around and made up a lot of money for little Phelaley. Little Phelaley bought a lot of cattle and clothes. Then next day big Phelaley met little Phelaley and said to him how did he get all the cattle and clothes. Oh said little Phelaley I killed my mother last night and sold her to the doctors, and they are going to make medicine out of her. Oh I will kill mine to
