  1. A long time ago there lived an old woman named Sally Phelan. She was travelling (used travel) up a long laneway to lodge with a family named Nolan.
One night is was very dark and there was a large pond on the side of the lane. The poor old woman missed her footing she fell in and got drowned.
To this day the pond and lane are known as Sall's lane and pond. Nights after this occurrance she was seen at the lane and on different occassions was seen at the pond.
