    things and on days which it is lucky to do certain things. It is said to be unlucky to throw out ashes on a Monday, because you would throw out all the luck of the week. It is also said to be unlucky to cut hair on a Sunday. If you were moving to a new house it is lucky to move on a Friday. They say if you move on a Friday the devil wont go with you. It is unlucky to start to cut turf on a Monday. Old people say that whatever you do on New Year's morning you will do it every morning of the year.
