  1. Kildrought House
    Many, many years ago, this place was a "Fever Hospital" and in those plague-stricken times many a person died of pestilence there.
    Later on, some distance away from this spot a Hospital and work-house were opened up by the French Sisters commonly known as the White Bonnets - due to the fact that they wear a white coronet on their heads.
    Then it was vacated and naturally enough remained vacant for some years.
    After much disin-fecting and purging under the directions of the Landlord it was bought over by a titled Lady named Lady Pease who lived in it until she died.
