  1. "Twee Lane"
    (at the)
At one end Celbridge town there is a road very well popu-lated, which is called "Twee Lane".
At the top of it is an old cemetery which contains the principle "Connolly Volt". It is covered by a windowless building.
This said building contains a splendid monument in marble to the "Speaker Connolly" and his wife.
The clever Artists name is Thomas Carter. Tradition says it took him 7 years to complete it; and on completion he went stone blind.
