    Unlike our grandfathers we know very little about herbs. When we get sick we go to the doctor. But our grandfathers never consulted a doctor only always went out into the fields or bog and pluck the herbs which they thought was most suitable for application to their respective ailments. The dog leaf is a well know cure for all external blemishes of the body, such as biles, cuts or sores of every kind.
