    One night Peter McKenna came into our house and began to tell fairy stories. he said one night he was out covering potato heaps very late. He started a fire of weeds and in the other side of the ditch the fairies started another fire.
    They would run around the fire with handfuls of fire in their hands He got afraid and left the field and the fire remained on for a long time.
