    One night he decided to find out who was threshing the corn for him. He arose and went out to the barn. When he opened the door he saw a tall man wearing nothing but a long shirt which reached his toes. He was threshing very busily and he never looked round when the door was opened.
    The man of the house took pity on him when he saw that he had so little clothes on him on such a cold night. He went inside and got an old suit of clothes. He went back into the barn and threw the clothes at the man and told him to put them on him. The thresher turned around said "You have paid me at last and I
