  1. Laragh Mill
On the fifteenth day of August all in this present year.
To the town of Carrickmacross my way I chanced to stear.
The first took my notice going round Laragh Mill.
The stunning wheel going through the deal.
    She is lying idle still.
    II
I am told she has been lying idle all since December last.
Her spindles are out of order and her bands they are all cast.
It will take some oil likewise some toil before she is sure to go.
She will want some of the handy boys up from the Sandy Roe.
    III
This good old mill is up yet still but may fall to the ground.
