my father talking about them over night. He told me, , when they wait to pry sausages they let them hang from a branch of a tree, then the let it hang over a blazing fire, until it is as black as sut and as hard as a stone. Many tramps visit farms, most of their times. If a farmer give them an egg, they are most thankful to him, because as egg is the most useful thing that can get. The food they get is very poor, dry bread and black tea, and they might get potatoes and salt also.
