"Mo ghrádh thú is mo thaisce
Tá do spré-sa a'teacht abhaile
Ní ba caoire na capaill,
Ach tabach is snaois is coinnle geala,
Agus ní dá mhaoidheamh ar lucht a chaithe
Ach tá mo chroidhe fé mhairg."
