    The coarse meadow because there is coarse hay in it.

    Football because long ago the people used to kick football there.
    The sports field because sports were held there
    The sheep laca, sheep used to be kept there
    Páirc an uisge; the white field, the black meadow
    Glens:- Gleann a bhfear nóg; tuirín gantó [?] glen. Gleann Doimhin in Dineen because it is very deep. Gleann Ganbh.
