    of the side of a box, the legs are made of sticks of blackthorn crossed and woven together. They also sell needles, laces, boxes of sweets and books. They very often exchange these articles for old rags, bottles or anything they can make a bit of profit on.
    There are a couple of travelling Families in this district named : -
    The Briens
    The Sheridans
    The Coffeys
    The Callaghans.
    They have caravans of their own by the side of the road and they make saucpans, pans, and kettles of tin.
