    has got a name such as, Dolly, Eily, Dearg, Beauty, and so forth. "How is the word used in driving the cows to or from the field and "suck suck" is the word mentioned when driving calves. If the cows move when milking "yoosh" is the word used and if you want to move a cow when milking "cartuig" is the word used.
    The cowhouses are built with cement timber and an iron roof and there are also timber "bails" to tie the cows. Mostly all cows are tied by the neck when milking. If the cow is trespassing she is tied by the horns and leg to keep her quiet. The tyings used to prevent a cow from trespassing are made from red rope and the tying used for spancel is made from the hair of
