    On the wedding day the friends and neighbours of both parties assemble together and celebrate the day by dancing and singing and feasting.
    The wedding feast is held in the house of the bride. In some counties straw-boys go round dressed up, and they generally get a good reception. Generally people get married either before Christmas, Shrove time or after Easter, and a few during the harvest season.
