    drilled.
    Ploughs are commonly used now but in some places the spade is used. The spades are not made locally but they are made in shops.
    The people help one another in sewing the seed, by giving them seed or by lending their horses or by helping them to sow the seed.
    First of all when the potatoes are sown they are manured and the furrows are dug and the mould is put up. That is called setting. The furrows are again dug and the second mould is put up. When the stalks are high enough, they are sprayed to keep away the blight.
