  1. There are numerous roads leading through the country from house to house and from twon to town. The local roads are known as the Cletta road, the Ballymote roads the Keash road the bog road and Carran-road and many others to numerous to mention. They lead to bogs to towns and to townlands.
There roads were reconstructed lately. The Keash road is being tarred at present. The Sligo County Counsil has given £4000 to get that work done. There is a steamroller and a stone crusher employed there together with a number of men with horses and carts and more men working at the crusher.
The Cletto road was repaired in 1936 and the contract is taken out at present by my father. The Ballymote road is repaired by "Direct Labour."
