    The swallow builds hers in a cowhouse. All the birds build their nests in a very neat manner, but the one which would attract your eye mostly is that of the thrush. The is an old saying "drop upon drop makes many a river and twig upon twig makes a birds nest."

The hen sits on the nest and lays four or five beautiful blue eggs with little brown marks. They resemble the eggs of the black bird only that her eggs are of a paler blue that the thrushes.
