  1. There lived a man near Drumfin lake. One morning he saw in his land marning the lake a strange cow. He put out the cow every morning on the road but she always came back. He was talking to the neighbours about the cow, they told him to tie a rope on her neck whenever he would let her out.
    The man kept the cow and she was a great cow. The cow calved every year. The man was going to the fair with the cattle. He told his wife to let out the cow. She forgot to put the rope on the cows neck. She never thought she had made the mistake. One of the cattle
