  1. Men, women and children were dying with hunger, and they had to go out into the fields and work and then they used to go into the fields and eat raw turnips.

  2. Girls play a game called Clod. One of the girls stands on a stone which represents the Clod. Then the other girls go away and hide. After a while the other girl goes in search of them. The first girl that is caught will have to follow the Clod.
    The games I play are, Football, Hurley, Handball, Cards, Marbles, Hide and go Seek, See-saw, Swinging and Dallog.
