A man was returning one night from a neighbour's house and he saw two groups of fairies playing football. When the play was good he shouted "Kick it up". He was then stuck blind, because he interfered with the fairies.
Another tale tells us of two men who were returning from a wake, they met fairies, and they immediately fell into a stupor. Their friends searched for and found them and thinking they were dead prepared to bury them. The night of the wake one of the men recovered and not long after, the other man recovered much to the delight of the people.
