    Every year there are potatoes set on our farm which take up three roods of land. At first the soil is ploughed into ridges for the seed, and manure is put on it. Then the ridges are settled, that is loose clay put up on them.
    After that the "splits" are set and each split must have an "eye" or else it will not grow. Then farmer
