  1. My home is in the townland of Drumfin parish of Ballymote and barony of Tirrerill.
    There are twenty four families in it and about eightly people,
    There are three families named and four names Kerins.
    The majority of the houses are slated.
    There are not many people over seventy years and non of them speak Irish There are no story tellers in Drumfin. There were more houses in Drumfin formerly.
    The occupants emigrated to America and Australia, and the houses being thatched fell into ruins. The land of Drumfin
