  1. My home is in the townland of Redfield or Murillyroe, in the Parish of Taunagh and Barony of Tirerrill.
There are two families in the townland, the names of Allen and Ingram, long ago it all belonged to Grand Aunts of my fathers, the name of Johnston. The houses are thatched but were more numerous in former times. There is a ruin of one house in the townland.
There were two families living in this house, the name of Mullen and Merrick they were work men.
Mrs Mullen and her son went to America after her husband died to make a living. The Merrick family are still in this country.
It is good land with bog attached to it.
