  1. Weather Signs.
    In Fine Weather:-
When rooks or other wild birds fly high.
When the lark sings early in the morning.
    A clear blue sky.
When the sun goes down red.
When birds sing late in the evening.
If fine weather comes with the change of the quarters of the moon you may look forward for a good spell of heat.
If there be large white clouds moving towards the north-west.
If before sunrise, the fields be covered with a mist.
If there be a ring wound the sun during bad weather.
If the full moon rises clear.
If there be clouds in the east in the evening.
If spider's webs can be easily blown away.
If there be lighting without thunder.
    If the mists vanish rapidly.
If the clouds at sunrise drift towards the west.
If it rains before sunrise there will be a fine afternoon. If bats fly about in the evening.
If there be a rain-bow late in the evening.
    If a rainbow disappears suddenly.
