  1. About one hundred years ago there lived a man who was very wicked and some one cursed him and prayed that he would haunt the place that he would be buried in. So it came to pass, and after his death he haunted the graveyard.
He used to attack people who passed the graveyard after midnight. The only ones who escaped being mauled by this fearful spectre were those, who, in the Name of Our Lord, Our Lady or some saint ordered him to leave them alone.
One woman was accosted by the ghost one night, and she complained to the priest. He promised to deal with the ghost. Some time later, the ghost attacked the priest while he was returning from a sick call.
The priest ordered the horror to go into the Protestant Church, and to stay there until the day of Judgement. The ghost with baffled rage was forced to obey the priest's commands.
