“There lived in Montiagh, Curry, Co. Sligo once a man named Dominick Molloy.”
There lived in Montiagh, Curry, Co Sligo once a man named Dominick Molloy. He had a dog and he was very fond of him. One day the gog strayed away from him and he went to look for him. He met a man on the road and he asked him if he saw a dog with a tail about an inch long or an inch and a half, or two inches. The man paused for a while and said that he did about an hour, or an hour and a half or two hours ago. Dominick searched for the dog but he never got him again. Dominick was very sorry after the little dog.- Collector
