  1. When a bride is getting married, she wears something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue. When they are coming out after being married a black haired man will meet them at the door. When they come home after the marriage an oatmeal cake is broken on the head of the bride, and each person gets a piece of cake. On the night of the wedding the straw boys come and start dancing with the bride. The day on which the bride goes home somebody throws the longs after her for good luck.
